About Proof of Reason
Proof of Reason is an on-chain agent compliance system by DJZS AI, LLC, live on Monad mainnet. It checks whether an agent’s stated reasons are true according to blockchain data, permitted by its mandate, and complete before a vault can move. The service is designed to verify premises, not judge whether a decision is wise.
Agents submit reasons as typed claims. A validator checks each premise against chain state at a pinned block, then records a signed PASS, WAIT, or FAIL verdict in an ERC-8004 validation registry. A gate acts only on PASS, requests owner input on WAIT, and reverts on FAIL. The system’s stated doctrine is: “The LLM reads. The chain testifies. TypeScript decides.” It holds the veto, not the keys.
Proof of Reason operates on Monad mainnet, chain 143, and provides an API at api.proofofreason.com for checks priced at 0.10 USDC each via x402. Every verdict is sealed with a receipt that can be retrieved by intent hash.
