Pro Progressione is a Budapest-based artistic hub that creates international cultural collaborations, bringing together artists, cultural activists, scientists and experts to address contemporary challenges. Its work is grounded in interdisciplinary exchange and the belief that communities can use culture and creativity to contribute to social change. The organization develops projects, performances, networks and practical methods that connect artistic practice with social and environmental concerns.
Its activities are organized across six pillars: PP Social focuses on socially engaged arts; PP Cult explores cultural and natural heritage; PP Sound supports music and tradition; PP Arts produces distinctive performances; PP Green addresses environmental and social sustainability; and PP Plus develops approaches that combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Pro Progressione has delivered numerous international projects supported by the European Commission and works with cultural associations and programmes across Europe. Selected in 2021 as a partner of the European Commission’s New European Bauhaus Initiative, it supports collaboration toward a more sustainable and inclusive future, while helping communities find pathways into the arts.
