Prospect Hockey Development (PHD) provides high-performance hockey development programs for elite female players pursuing NCAA hockey at the highest level. Founded and directed by Grant Kimball, a current women’s assistant coach at Yale University, PHD draws on more than 32 years of coaching experience, including over 25 years in NCAA Division I and III as a coach, recruiter, and player development specialist. Its programs serve players from grade 9 through incoming college freshmen and are staffed by current and former NCAA coaches and players.
PHD’s 2026 spring and summer clinics in Bedford, Massachusetts, and Northford, Connecticut, focus on forwards and defenders, with limited goaltender places. Each clinic includes 13 hours of ice time: 12 hours of on-ice instruction and one game. Participants also take part in three video sessions and two seminars covering NCAA player development and position-specific recruiting. The Bedford clinic runs June 22–24, ahead of the East Coast Wizards Summer Showcase, and the Northford clinic takes place August 17–19.
