Prospector Baseball

Prospector Baseball Group (PBG) is a baseball organization focused on strengthening local teams and the communities around them. Rooted in the traditions of hometown baseball, the group aims to keep the game familiar, enjoyable, and accessible for fans and families. Its approach combines practical operational support with technology, using those tools to build on what already works rather than change the character of local baseball.

PBG says its priorities are protecting the traditions that make each team special, keeping fans and communities at the center of decisions, and supporting teams where it matters most. The organization’s teams include the Akron RubberDucks, Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, and Lancaster Stormers, which it acquired beginning in October 2025. These clubs have established local roots and passionate fan bases.
