ProTalk

ProTalk is a Helsinki-based language coaching company that helps people communicate with greater confidence in professional settings. Founded in 2011, it works with organisations and individuals, including clients in law, banking, consultancy and logistics. Rather than relying on a traditional grammar-book approach, ProTalk focuses on practical communication, encouraging learners to use the language naturally in real workplace situations.

The company provides coaching in Swedish, English and Finnish, with sessions tailored to clients’ goals and business environments. Face-to-face coaching can take place at a client’s premises or another suitable location, and online sessions are available through platforms such as Teams and Zoom. Coaching covers spoken and written communication and is offered privately, in pairs or in groups of up to five. Telephone-based Walk&Talk sessions are also available to practise speaking on calls.

ProTalk additionally provides online language proficiency testing, combining written and speaking assessments designed with clients to suit their organisational needs. Its services also include translation and proofreading in Swedish, Finnish and English.
