Protecţia Animalelor is a Romanian online platform that helps people take action on animal welfare concerns and connect with others who share their commitment to protecting animals. Its central service enables users to write to the institutions responsible for animal protection, including local authorities, animal shelters, NGOs and veterinary or animal-health authorities. Visitors can select their county and find guidance on reporting acts of cruelty.

The site also supports public initiatives and petitions, allowing members to propose campaigns and invite people nationwide to join. For animals needing homes, users can post dogs and cats for adoption or look for animals to adopt. A community activity feed shares recent letters, member updates and campaign news, while registration gives users access to participate.

The platform reports a community of more than 17,000 people and presents itself as a space for turning concern into practical advocacy. By bringing together information, outreach tools, adoption listings and collective initiatives, Protecţia Animalelor encourages individuals to raise concerns and support more responsible treatment of animals
