About Protection Civile Paris Seine
Protection Civile Paris Seine (PCPS) is an association committed to civil security, recognized as being of public interest. With more than 1,500 volunteers spread across 38 branches in Paris and the surrounding area (92-93-94), PCPS focuses on three main areas: emergency operations (first aid posts in Paris and the region), first aid and safety training (accredited professional training organization), and solidarity and social action (volunteer missions). For the general public, PCPS offers a variety of first aid training programs, including first aid basics (PSC1), team first aid (PSE1, PSE2), and workplace first aid (SST).
These courses, which attracted over 34,000 participants in 2022, take place at different PCPS branches in Paris and the region. For professionals and businesses, PCPS provides a range of training courses in the areas of first aid, safety, and fire safety. These courses, such as PSC1, SST, and PSE1/PSE2, fulfill the legal obligation for employers as stipulated in the Labor Code (article L.
4525-1). Additionally, these training programs offer an opportunity to foster team cohesion and cultivate shared values. PCPS is authorized by the Prefet de Police, accredited by INRS (SST), and certified by FAC iCert and data-dockée.
Furthermore, PCPS is equipped to organize first aid posts for large-scale events and has extensive experience in providing emergency services at major Parisian events. These services are tailored to the specific needs and visitor numbers of each event and comply with applicable sizing regulations (RNMSC DPS). As a non-profit organization, PCPS welcomes support from individuals in the form of donations or by contributing to its visibility.
Individuals can also engage directly with PCPS through volunteer work
