Protheflex is a prosthetics company focused on developing solutions intended to improve comfort, functionality, performance, and appearance for people living with limb loss. Its work is guided by the goal of supporting patients’ quality of life after amputation, with attention to both practical use and personal well-being. The company was established by Zmago Vidrih, a certified prosthetist and orthotist (CPO) with more than 20 years of experience in the prosthetics field.
His background includes work at the University Rehabilitation Institute of Slovenia and at a private prosthetics company, where he co-owned the business. Drawing on his experience working with patients and seeking more comfortable solutions, Vidrih developed the Protheflex flexible socket system. He is also identified as the inventor of the Art-Leg sports knee.
Protheflex offers the Protheflex System, laminating fabric, and prosthesis covers. The company is based in Novo mesto, Slovenia, and provides an email contact for people seeking further information about its products and services
