Proudofus.uk

ProudOfUs is a dynamic initiative dedicated to rediscovering and sharing the hidden stories of British heritage, from ancient times to modern innovations. Originating from a simple sticker that sparked curiosity, the founders embarked on a journey to uncover the rich legacy of ordinary people who have significantly shaped history. They focus on amplifying the voices of those often overlooked, such as ancient Britons, inventors, and activists who fought for justice and civil rights. ProudOfUs offers a variety of free educational resources, including videos and primary source materials, ensuring that knowledge of one's heritage is accessible to everyone.

Their mission is threefold: to promote learning by highlighting the remarkable achievements and struggles of the past, to foster realization of the collective power within communities, and to unite people in rebuilding a shared narrative. Guided by principles of truth and independent funding, ProudOfUs creates a platform where the stories of all individuals are celebrated, encouraging a deeper understanding of our history and its relevance today.
