About ProVent
ProVent is a Latvian flooring brand focused on multifunctional underlays for floating floors. Developed and manufactured under an exclusive license by PEPI RER SIA, ProVent uses protected micropumping technology to support air movement beneath flooring. Its underlay is designed to provide ventilation, acoustic insulation and protection from moisture, without requiring an additional vapour barrier. The product is also recommended for use with water-based floor-heating systems.
Since 2007, more than 20 million square metres of ProVent underlay have been sold. The brand’s projects include the Clarion Hotel Helsinki, where ProVent was installed beneath laminated parquet in living areas in 2016. The company reports that regular electronic measurements at the site showed decreasing humidity in the concrete subfloor over time. ProVent is recognised by the Latvian asthma and allergy association and the Estonian allergy federation, and is presented as an option for people seeking solutions mindful of building conditions and human health.
