PROXIMITY FLIGHT

Proximity Flight is an Australian paragliding and speed-flying gear retailer and service provider, based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Founded by pilot Julian Lyons and run by a team of passionate flyers, the business aims to help customers progress, discover new places and connect with a supportive flying community. It is Australia’s official FLARE Pro Partner and a certified FLARE Service Centre, as well as a local dealer for ITV Wings and PPG Smoke products.

Its range includes FLARE parakites such as the progression-focused SCOUT, high-performance BANDIT, Moustache 2, LINE 2 and PROP, alongside FLARE PROXY and CONTOUR harnesses. The catalogue also features paramotor and paragliding wings, PPG accessories, AIR ITALY electric paramotors, tandem paragliders, demo gear and used equipment. Customers can try equipment before buying, with more than 20 demo wings available. Proximity Flight also offers professional servicing for parakites of any brand, mini-wings and paragliders, plus advice, events and flying opportunities in Australia, Indonesia and elsewhere. It welcomes enquiries about gear, demos and progression.
