En Proyecto Difa Alternativas y Actualización, A.C., transformamos vidas promoviendo la salud mental, el desarrollo humano y el fortalecimiento comunitario en Chiapas, México. Trabajamos con niñas, niños, adolescentes y jóvenes, especialmente tsotsiles, integrando enfoques innovadores y herramientas culturales para detonar cambios reales y sostenibles. Nuestras iniciativas como Chiltak, Cine Ta Jlumal y Pozol Comedy celebran la diversidad, impulsan el arraigo cultural y fortalecen el bienestar emocional de comunidades. About Proyecto DIFA A.C.
Proyecto DIFA Alternativas y Actualización, A.C. is a nonprofit organization based in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas. Established in 2006 and legally registered in 2008, our organization focuses on four strategic areas: Documentation, Research, Training, and Self-management, summarized by the acronym DIFA. Our primary goal is to promote Human Development for individuals facing vulnerability due to gender, age, identity, and belonging. Our work is guided by the principles of Generational Perspective, Gender Equity, and Transculturality, within a framework of daily exercise of Human Rights.
At Proyecto Difa, we carry out various annual projects to fulfill our social mission and institutional objectives. Our flagship program, Estación Juventud, has been active since 2011 in nine municipalities of Chiapas, empowering indigenous youth through community participation and leadership development. This program encompasses various thematic components, including Art and Culture, Social Capital, Economy, Education, Gender Equity, Environment, Health, and Technology.
We are a recognized "donataria autorizada" organization in Mexico, authorized to issue tax-deductible receipts. If you wish to make a donation, we can provide you with a receipt that can be deducted from your annual tax returns. For donors residing in the United States, we have obtained certification of equivalence through NGO Sources, ensuring the deductibility of your donation in the US.
