Prune Buggy

Prune Buggy is an earth-conscious arborist service focused on tree care for homeowners and gardeners in San Francisco and the wider Bay Area. Led by Allegra, an ISA Certified Arborist and arboreal educator, the business highlights more than seven years of certified arborist experience, over 11 years in forestry, and work pruning more than 1,500 trees. Its services include fruit tree management, pruning for small trees and shrubs, clearance and structural restoration, root health guidance, tree health consultations, and risk assessments.

Prune Buggy also offers environmental and horticultural education for gardeners and aspiring arborists through teaching and workshops. The approach emphasizes long-term plant health, clear explanations of recommended care, current industry and safety standards, and environmentally conscious practices. Allegra travels by bicycle when possible and uses management tools intended to reduce the harmful effects of biocides on the environment.

The website states that Prune Buggy is no longer accepting new clients and directs people seeking qualified tree care to the International Society of Arboriculture’s directory of Certified Arborists
