Prydwen develops air-superiority UAV systems designed to address the growing gap between detecting incoming drones and intercepting them. Its focus is reusable interceptors that can operate in staging airspace and engage threats at detection range, rather than waiting until they approach a city. The company’s Merlin platform is a reusable interceptor intended for use against Shahed/Geran-class one-way attack drones.

Prydwen lists Merlin’s wingspan at about three meters, speed at 375 km/h, range at 450 km, and endurance at two hours, with a modular effector and an indicated unit cost of $50,000–$60,000. Reuse allows Merlin to carry a sensor array that includes radar, thermal sensing, and multiple cameras. The platform is designed to track, engage, and return for further use.
