Huntsville Hospital Lung Center is a multispecialty physician group within the Huntsville Hospital Health System, providing pulmonary, sleep and critical care services across five locations in Huntsville, Madison and Decatur, Alabama. Its clinicians care for people with acute and chronic lung conditions, including COPD, emphysema, asthma, persistent cough, shortness of breath, lung cancer, pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension. The center also serves adults and children with sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome and periodic limb movements.

Sleep services include coordination of in-lab studies and home sleep tests through Huntsville Hospital Sleep Diagnostic Labs. As a designated Inspire Sleep Center, the clinic also supports patients before and after Inspire device implantation. Critical care medicine is another part of the group’s comprehensive clinical offering.

Appointments are by appointment, and a physician referral is required in most cases. The center provides new-patient paperwork and medical-record request resources, and accepts many insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare and Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
