Pakistan Society of Clinical Oncology (PSCO) is the largest body representing specialists treating cancer patients in the country. With members from various disciplines such as clinical oncologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, nuclear physicians, hematologists, pediatric oncologists, surgical oncologists, medical physicists, radiotherapy technologists, and specialist nurses trained in cancer patient management, PSCO aims to provide comprehensive and cost-effective cancer treatment. Clinical oncologists focus on using non-surgical methods like radiotherapy and systemic therapy (chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted agents, immunotherapy) to treat cancer patients.

They work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop multidisciplinary teams and tumor board meetings to improve patient management. PSCO's objectives include promoting the specialty of clinical oncology and allied sciences, providing services to the community, promoting academic activities, raising awareness about cancer prevention and early detection, conducting research, and advocating for the rights and interests of its members. PSCO is dedicated to improving the quality of cancer care in Pakistan and worldwide, and it actively collaborates with other oncology societies, patient groups, and industry stakeholders to achieve this vision
