About PSCORE
PSCORE, short for People for Successful COrean REunification, is a non-profit NGO based in Seoul, South Korea. With a mission to address potential barriers to reunification and assist North Korean refugees, PSCORE has been actively working towards the reunification of the Korean Peninsula since its establishment in 2006. Led by Young-Il Kim, a former North Korean soldier who successfully defected with his family, PSCORE offers various programs and initiatives to help North Korean defectors adapt to life in South Korea.
These include mentoring, education, and human rights and democracy programs. As the only NGO dedicated exclusively to advocating for North Korean human rights, PSCORE has made strides in promoting the cause on a global scale. Since 2012, the organization has held special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
PSCORE also provides emergency aid to North Korean refugees in China through secure and discreet channels. By emphasizing the original spelling of Corea, PSCORE highlights its goal of a reunified peninsula. Join PSCORE, donate, or volunteer and be a part of their mission for successful Korean reunification
