Psicothema

Psychothema is an open-access psychology journal founded in Asturias, northern Spain, in 1989. Published by Grupo Editorial Psicofundación since August 2022, it is jointly associated with the Psychology Faculty of the University of Oviedo and the Psychological Association of the Principality of Asturias. The journal publishes four issues annually and welcomes basic and applied research from every area of psychology. All submitted manuscripts undergo anonymous peer review, with publication guided by standards of research quality and strength of evidence.

Psychothema’s principal offering is its digital scholarly journal, providing free access to articles that readers can read, download, copy, distribute, print, and search, provided the original source is acknowledged.
