Centrum badawczo – rozwojowe ICT/ICT Research and Development Center PCSS zapewnia dostęp do e-Infrastruktury na światowym poziomie dla otoczenia naukowego tworząc swoiste środowisko badawczo-rozwojowe – CYFROWĄ NAUKĘ – dla przedsięwzięć typu „proof of concept”, prototypowania czy projektów pilotażowych wielkiej skali. Drugą gałęzią działalności jest CYFROWA GOSPODARKA ukierunkowana na tworzenie innowacji opartych o technologie informacyjno-komunikacyjne (ICT), czyli realizację wdrożeń dla różnych dziedzin nauki oraz przemysłu. Równie istotnym elementem jest działalność misyjna w kontekście INNOWACJI SPOŁECZNYCH poprzez szerzenie wiedzy i świadomości na temat możliwości technologicznych wśród różnych grup społecznych, a także aktywna walka z problemem wykluczenia cyfrowego. Od 30 lat współpracujemy z instytucjami badawczymi, by w ramach wspólnych projektów eksplorować nowe obszary nauki, jak i z partnerami przemysłu, tymi startującymi na rynku, jak i dużymi przedsiębiorstwami, dla których nasze kompetencje i doświadczenie mogą stać się silnym atutem rozwoju konkurencyjnej innowacji. PSNC provides access to a world-class e-Infrastructure for the scientific community, a specific research and development environment – DIGITAL SCIENCE – for “proof of concept” projects, prototyping or large-scale pilot projects. Another branch of our activity is in DIGITAL INDUSTRY, which is focused on the creation of innovations based on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), i.e. the execution of specific implementations for various fields of science and industry. Equally important is our work in the context of SOCIAL INNOVATION to spread knowledge and awareness of contemporary technological opportunities among various social groups, as well as actively fighting against digital exclusion. About Poznańskie Centrum Superkomputerowo-Sieciowe
PSNC, or the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, is a renowned brand affiliated with the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
