The Polish Association for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, Działdowo Branch (PSONI Koło w Działdowie) works to protect the dignity, rights, health and quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities. The association promotes equal opportunities and active participation in society, while supporting families across different areas of life.

Its services combine education, therapy, rehabilitation and practical support. The branch operates a Rehabilitation, Education and Care Centre (OREW), a non-public school preparing students for work, an occupational therapy workshop, a therapeutic day centre and a speech therapy clinic. It also provides the “Rehabilitation 25+” programme. Through these settings, participants can access educational provision, occupational therapy, revalidation and physical rehabilitation.

The organisation’s activities also encourage social inclusion, personal development and greater independence. Its occupational therapy workshop offers opportunities to build practical and creative skills, while rehabilitation services support participants’ physical abilities.
