PSSK

Podkarpackie Stowarzyszenie Sympatyków Kolei (PSSK) is a railway heritage association based in Rzeszów, Poland. Founded in 2015, it brings together railway enthusiasts, model makers, active railway workers and others interested in the history of rail transport in southeastern Poland. The association works to preserve historic railway vehicles through restoration and hands-on maintenance, while documenting their condition, progress and history for the public.

Its collection includes historic snowploughs and other rail vehicles, such as the SDPM and 411S ploughs, the KSF-70 snow blower and the CWL26 wagon. PSSK shares its work through project updates, photographs, videos and public events, including Museum Night and outdoor gatherings. It also welcomes volunteers; railway experience is not required, as newcomers can learn while helping with restoration work.

Supporters can contribute through donations, including Poland’s 1. 5% tax allocation, helping fund the preservation of the association’s historic rolling stock. Through practical conservation and public outreach, PSSK keeps the region’s railway history visible and accessible
