About PSSPFund
The Private Security Sector Provident Fund (PSSPF) is a recognized brand in the private security sector, aiming to be an excellent and sustainable value benefit creator. Since its establishment in 2002, the Fund has provided a range of benefits to its members and their families, including retirement, disability, death, and funeral benefits. With over 330,000 active members and assets worth more than R11.
5 billion, the PSSPF has a solid track record in protecting members' interests and safeguarding their retirement savings. Employers play a crucial role in contributing to the Fund, with around 800 employers contributing annually. A member automatically becomes part of the fund if they fulfill the eligibility requirements.
