Pstruháreň

Pstruháreň Kolačkov is a family-run trout farm in the village of Kolačkov, near Stará Ľubovňa, Slovakia. Established in 1999, it raises rainbow trout in clean mountain water and sells its fish directly from the farm throughout the year. Customers can choose live, chilled or smoked trout, and staff can professionally clean fish on request. The farm also supplies restaurants, canteens and other food-service businesses, with larger orders arranged in advance.

Visitors can fish in the farm’s ponds without a fishing licence; rods are available to borrow, and guests can take home their catch or have it prepared on site. The experience is designed for families, including children, who can enjoy fishing and learn about farm life. Pstruháreň Kolačkov also shares trout recipes and offers its fish through regular retail partners in Kežmarok and Stará Ľubovňa. The farm is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., combining local fish production with a welcoming destination for fresh food and family outings.
