Pstruzi Praha

Pstruhová farma Lochkov is a family-run fish farm in Prague 5, where fish keeping is a shared hobby. The farm raises rainbow trout and Siberian sturgeon from eggs and small fry through to market size, and sells fish directly from its own stock. Customers can choose a fish that is harvested from the water for them, with sales available throughout the year on an irregular, occasional basis. Visitors are advised to call ahead to arrange a time.

The fish are kept in separate ponds according to size, supplied with flowing spring water maintained at a consistent temperature and continuously oxygenated. The farm says it raises its fish in line with welfare principles and does not use chemical support products. In addition to fish for household consumption, it offers trout stock measuring about 10–15 cm and Russian or Siberian sturgeon measuring about 10–20 cm for private ponds and recreational fishing; other fry may be available by arrangement. The farm also provides advice on fish keeping and related equipment.
