About Peterborough Musicfest
Peterborough Musicfest is an incredible summer festival that offers eight weeks of free admission concerts. Located at the end of the rapids on the picturesque shores of Little Lake in Nogojiwanong, this festival showcases renowned musicians in a beautiful gathering place. What makes this festival truly special is the unique backdrop of Peterborough, a city that has transformed from an electric city to a creative hub.
The summer season is a vibrant time, with lush natural landscapes, farmer's markets, waterways, forests, and a thriving downtown. The Del Crary Park stage, at the heart of Musicfest, has hosted an impressive lineup of artists, including City & Colour, Crash Test Dummies, Carly Rae Jepsen, and many more. The festival attracts a sizable audience, with 135,000 attendees in 2019, providing an economic boost to the downtown area.
Musicfest is community-supported, funded by corporate sponsorships, government support, fundraising initiatives, and private donations. The festival remains free of charge, exemplifying the belief that music should be enjoyed by everyone. Join us as we embark on our 36th season starting on July 1, 2023.
