Pubblica Assistenza Bore

Pubblica Assistenza e Soccorso Bore ODV is a volunteer-led community association serving Bore and the surrounding area of Parma’s Apennines. For 60 years, it has provided practical healthcare assistance and social support, relying on volunteers and local community backing. Its services include medical guard coverage when family doctors are unavailable, emergency first aid coordinated by the 118 Emilia Ovest operations center, and assisted transport for medical appointments, hospital admissions and discharges, and rehabilitation therapies. The association also promotes health and safety through first-aid courses, prevention activities, and public initiatives that encourage solidarity and emergency awareness.

People can support its work by volunteering, becoming members, or contributing through Italy’s 5×1000 tax designation. Prospective volunteers take ANPAS training with qualified instructors, including lessons, practical exercises, and supervised experience alongside established volunteers. The association offers information about its services, transport, volunteering, and community activities. Based in Bore, it aims to ensure accessible assistance and strengthen local preparedness through the commitment of people caring for their community.
