Public Greens is a modern and innovative brand owned and operated by Patachou Inc. It is a cafeteria and microfarm located in Indianapolis, IN. Inspired by farm markets, Public Greens offers a variety of delicious dishes made with locally grown produce and humanely raised proteins.
The menu features a rotating series of seasonally inspired bowls, grilled items, and handheld options. What sets Public Greens apart is that it is also a working urban microfarm. The restaurant's in-house farmer/beekeeper manages a farm spanning an entire city block, supplying the eatery with fresh produce, herbs, and edible flowers.
Public Greens is committed to sustainability and has received the Three Star Green Certification for its outstanding environmental practices in areas such as energy, water, waste, and food. Moreover, Public Greens supports The Patachou Foundation, which serves nutrient-dense, scratch-made meals to food-insecure children in the community.
