The European Prize for Urban Public Space is a prestigious biennial initiative by the Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB). Established in 1999, the Prize aims to recognize and showcase the best works that create, recover, and enhance public space in Europe. In the last edition, 336 works from 35 countries were considered, adding to the 2206 works submitted in previous editions. The Prize contributes to the CCCB's multidisciplinary reflection on the city and public space
