Puhakan Sukuseura

Puhakan Sukuseura ry is a Finnish family association for people connected to the Puhakka family and those interested in its history. Founded in Joensuu in 1996 and registered in 1997, the association aims to connect members of the family and help them get to know one another. Membership is open to people whose ancestors include someone from the Puhakka family, whether through direct descent or marriage, as well as others interested in the family.

The association shares information about Puhakka family history, genealogy and gatherings. Its website features reports and photographs from family meetings, including the 2025 gathering, and information about genealogical research. It also provides access to the family book Pohjois-Karjalan Puhakat, including corrections and additions to parts two and three, and lists family-related products. The association has its own registered coat of arms, which members may use.
