Puheterapeutti Helsinki

Puheterapeutti Helsinki Oy is a private speech therapy practice serving children and young people in Helsinki and Vantaa. Led by Liisa Saksa, a licensed speech therapist with a master’s degree in logopedics and 15 years of experience, the company provides individualized, goal-oriented rehabilitation tailored to each child’s needs and everyday environment. Sessions can take place at home, in daycare, at school or remotely, with the format and frequency planned together with the family.

Therapy supports speech and language development, communication and participation in daily life. Areas addressed include developmental language disorders, delayed speech and language development, articulation and speech clarity, oral and speech motor skills, social interaction, and early reading and writing skills. Activities may include speech production, comprehension, vocabulary, sentence building and storytelling. When helpful, the therapist uses augmentative and alternative communication, such as picture boards, communication books and key-word signing.

The practice also offers family guidance, consultations and collaboration with caregivers, schools and other professionals.
