About PULCHRA
Pulchra Schools is an EU-funded project that aims to revolutionize science education by focusing on the theme "Cities as urban ecosystems. " With partners from ten nations, Pulchra encourages students in urban schools to explore environmental and sustainability issues in their local communities. Through open schooling and inquiry-based learning, students collaborate with experts to conduct real-life experiments and address challenges such as climate change, urban regeneration, and resource efficiency.
The project aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and offers six City Challenges for schools to tackle. Pulchra also provides a City Challenges Platform, a mobile app, and engages City Science Reporters to share project updates.
