Pulkkilan Erä

Pulkkilan Erä ry is a Finnish hunting association founded in 1959. It operates in the Siikalatva municipality, serving the areas of Launola, Pulkkila and Vorna. The association’s work focuses on responsible hunting and practical activities that support local wildlife and hunting communities.

Wildlife management is one of Pulkkilan Erä’s central responsibilities. The association maintains several game fields used by its moose-hunting groups and distributes approximately 120 mineral lick stones each year. It also manages the leasing of land for hunting, concentrating on renewals during late winter to help preserve the association’s established hunting areas.

Pulkkilan Erä ry also supports shooting activities and youth participation through its shooting and youth sections. These activities bring together members and provide ways to engage with hunting-related skills and community life. The association shares current news, rules, meeting materials and other resources through its website, alongside information about its sections and contacts. As a local, member-based organisation, Pulkkilan Erä combines wildlife care, land-use coordination and hunting activities in support of responsible hunting in its operating area.
