Puma Watch North Wales

Puma Watch North Wales is a dedicated initiative focused on raising awareness and ensuring the safety of communities in the presence of big cats, including pumas and lynx, that roam the wilds of North Wales. The organization encourages the public to report sightings through its user-friendly website while emphasizing the importance of safety—advising participants never to approach these majestic creatures. The brand serves as a crucial resource for information, offering features like a sightings map and a blog to educate the community.

With hundreds of reported sightings each year, including noteworthy incidents in locations like Chester Meadows and Talacre, there's a growing recognition of the established populations of these elusive big cats, which were released into the wild following pet ownership bans in the 1970s. Puma Watch North Wales is instrumental in connecting enthusiasts, fostering a sense of community, and promoting the protection of these remarkable animals in their natural habitat
