About Pumpkin Nights
Pumpkin Nights is a family-friendly Halloween festival that transforms autumn evenings into an illuminated outdoor adventure. Held in Austin and the Dallas–Fort Worth area, the event features more than 10,000 hand-carved pumpkins arranged across nine immersive Lands and a glowing half-mile trail. Visitors can explore imaginative scenes such as an undersea world, a mythical city and a pumpkin-filled forest, with live pumpkin carvers creating new works each night.
Beyond the trail, Pumpkin Village offers live fire shows, festive food and drinks, games, pumpkin activities, seasonal vendors and photo opportunities. Costumes are encouraged, and the experience is designed for all ages, emphasizing creativity and wonder rather than horror; there are no forced jump scares or gore, and children three and under enter free. Guests can walk the trail at their own pace and stay in the Village to enjoy the entertainment and activities. Tickets are purchased online in advance for timed entry, with locations in Austin and Dallas–Fort Worth.
