About Pumpkinville
Pumpkinville is a seasonal, family-run autumn destination in Toano, Virginia, operated by a small family farm in nearby Barhamsville. Open throughout October, it offers a festive setting for enjoying the Halloween season and choosing a pumpkin. Visitors can pick a pumpkin from the patch or select one from the large display in the yard, which also features gourds and winter squash. An extended hayride circles an actual pumpkin patch, while children and adults can enjoy a cornfield maze, bean bag toss, ring toss, and other games. Many activities are free.
The farm’s seasonal offerings include flowers, wooden cut-outs, arts and crafts, fall decorations, bundles of cornstalks, and bales of straw, making Pumpkinville a destination for autumn goods as well as family outings. A limited number of picnic tables and a portable restroom are available. Large groups and birthday parties must reserve picnic tables in advance, and group visits incur a charge. Pumpkinville is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
