Punani Steam

Punani Steam is an Oahu-based pelvic wellness practice offering vaginal steaming and somatic womb care in a private, supportive setting. Founded by Témar Marté, whom the website identifies as Oahu’s first certified Pelvic Steam Facilitator and Somatic Womb Path Practitioner, the practice emphasizes trauma-informed care, cultural respect, warmth, and compassionate guidance. Its services are intended to help clients build a gentler connection with their bodies, cycles, emotions, and personal wellbeing.

Pelvic steaming involves sitting over warm water infused with a customized herbal blend, allowing steam to reach the external pelvic area. Punani Steam presents this as an ancient, non-invasive self-care practice for prevention, maintenance, relaxation, and pelvic wellness. The practice welcomes clients from their first menstruation through post-menopause, while noting that steaming is not appropriate in certain circumstances, including pregnancy or active bleeding. Offerings include individual steam sessions, somatic womb care, educational resources, workshops, and occasional community gatherings and retreats featuring activities such as yoga, lei making, and group steaming.
