The Punjab Green School Certification Program is a climate resilience and environmental education initiative serving schools and communities across Punjab, Pakistan. Its vision is to inspire students to help shape a climate-resilient Punjab by building climate-smart schools, reducing emissions, and fostering preparedness for environmental challenges. The program helps students, teachers, and school leaders turn sustainability into practical daily action, while connecting schools with families and local communities.

Schools can take part in a certification process that recognizes progress through a five-star rating system. The program provides action guidelines, a pledge platform, resources, training, and progress tracking, with school activities submitted for review and verification. Its action areas include improving air quality, conserving and managing water, strengthening water, sanitation, and hygiene, saving energy, and reducing waste. Suggested activities range from fixing leaks and installing efficient lighting to promoting cycling, rainwater harvesting, and environmental learning events. The initiative also shares updates, training events, school achievements, and registration statistics.
