Punk Panther

Punk Panther Endurance Events Ltd, originally founded as Punk Panther Ultra Marathons, is dedicated to promoting endurance sports and fostering a supportive community for runners. Established by Ryk Downes, a passionate runner and orienteer who overcame significant health challenges, Punk Panther offers a variety of races including ultra marathons, half marathons, and 20-mile events. After a life-threatening heart incident in 2016, Ryk's journey back to fitness inspired him to create this series, aimed at giving back to the sport he loves.

Since its inception, Punk Panther has expanded to host 13 annual events, inviting runners of all levels to test their limits in stunning Yorkshire landscapes. The brand collaborates with local businesses and sponsors to enhance the race experience and is committed to inspiring others through Ryk’s remarkable story of resilience and recovery. Whether you're an experienced marathoner or a novice runner, Punk Panther is a welcoming space for endurance enthusiasts looking for challenging races and a supportive community
