Punta Gorda Pub Run

Punta Gorda Pub Run is a community fitness initiative that brings people of all ages and abilities together to run, walk, socialize, and support local businesses. Events are free to participate in and take place at a different local venue each week, with participants starting and finishing at the same location. Walkers can follow a mapped route of about 2.1 miles, while runners can choose a mapped 3.1-mile route. Walkers set off at 6:15 p.m. and runners at 6:30 p.m., followed by a free raffle at 7:15 p.m. Participants are encouraged to enjoy the food and beverages offered by each venue and to complete an online waiver before their first event.

The brand also sells Pub Run apparel and other merchandise through its online shop; wearing the gear earns an extra raffle ticket at an event. Punta Gorda Pub Run recognizes its sponsors and participating locations, and supports local nonprofits through special collections for the Animal Welfare League and The Center for Abuse & Rape Emergencies.
