About Purcari Wines
Purcari is a distinguished wine brand with a rich heritage dating back to 1827, when it established itself as the first specialized winery in Bessarabia. Known for its iconic wines, particularly the Emblematic Negru de Purcari, which won a gold medal at the 1878 World Exposition in Paris, Purcari has remained resilient through historical challenges. Today, the estate has evolved into a key player in the Moldovan wine industry, becoming one of the largest exporters of bottled wines in the region.
Under the leadership of Victor Bostan, the Purcari Group has undergone significant transformation since 2003, enhancing its winemaking processes and infrastructure, as well as focusing on sustainability. The winery offers a range of premium wines that capture the essence of the IGP ลtefan Vodฤ region, making it a prominent destination for wine tourism and a champion of Central and Eastern European wines. With over 20 years of growth and investment, Purcari is firmly positioned on the international wine map
