Pure Equine Services is a saddle-fitting business based in Collendoorn, Overijssel, offering practical, knowledgeable support to improve comfort and balance for horses and riders. Founded by Tom Leeggangers, the service draws on experience in equestrian sport and further training as a saddle fitter, with particular attention to how saddle fit can affect a horse’s movement, back comfort and behaviour.

Services include consultations to assess an existing saddle’s condition and fit, with many adjustments available on site. Pure Equine Services also fits new saddles, offering customizable Passier dressage and jumping models, and maintains a small, changing selection of checked used saddles for riders seeking a lower-cost option. Repairs include replacing girth straps, fixing stitching and renewing wool flocking.

The business also supplies saddle accessories, including girths and stirrup leathers, recognizing their role in saddle and rider balance. For horses with back problems or riding-related difficulties, veterinary guidance may be available through Pure Equine Veterinary Services. The overall focus is finding suitable, lasting solutions for both horse and rider.
