Pure Flats LLC is an American fishing tackle brand built around The Slick Lure, a soft-plastic, slow-sinking jerk bait designed for fishing shallow saltwater flats, bays, and marshes. Founded in 2015, the company began when tournament-winning angler Capt. Joey Landreneau invented the lure. Pure Flats says its products help anglers target large trout, redfish, snook, founder, and bass, and that anglers have used them to achieve personal-best catches and tournament wins. The brand is also expanding the freshwater use of its Slick lures for bass, crappie, and walleye.
Pure Flats offers several lure lines, including the Slick, Slick Jr, and Lil’ Slick, alongside hooks, corks, apparel, and decals. Its online store also features specials and promotions, and the company provides wholesale ordering, fishing tips and techniques, testimonials, and information about retail locations and its pro staff. The brand highlights that its products are proudly made in the United States and offers free shipping on orders of $50 or more.
