Olympic Peninsula Skagit Tactics (OPST) is a fishing brand run by a group of steelheaders focused on Skagit-style swing fishing. Inspired by the Skagit River and the Olympic Peninsula, the company develops gear and educational resources for anglers pursuing species ranging from king salmon to smallmouth bass. Its approach centers on sustained-anchor casting and practical equipment shaped by experience on the water.
OPST’s product range includes two-handed, switch, and short Spey rods, including its MS, SHS, Micro, and Pure Skagit models. The brand also offers Commando Skagit heads, Lazar running line, integrated line systems, tips, tippet materials, and line kits. Fly-tying supplies include hooks, steelhead and intruder shanks, dubbing tools, and junction tubing. Accessories and branded apparel include packs, wallets, rod wraps, hats, hoodies, and stickers.
To help customers select and use their gear, OPST provides line charts, rod recommendations, setup guides, articles, and instructional videos through its Learning Center. The company also lists dealers and provides customer support, including warranty and returns information.
