Pureequine

PureEquine is a Canterbury-based service providing on-site soft-tissue therapy for horses experiencing musculoskeletal issues. The service is delivered by Paula Doherty, a fully qualified Bowen Therapy practitioner. Its focus is equine soft-tissue care, with treatment offered at the horse’s location rather than solely through a fixed clinic. Owners seeking support can contact PureEquine about clinic or purchase consultations, as indicated on the website. The site also provides an enquiries route for people wishing to ask about the service.

In an August 2026 update, PureEquine states that it is taking a short hiatus, described as a temporary pause in work. This notice is important for prospective clients to consider when making contact or arranging a consultation. PureEquine presents itself as a specialist equine therapy service centered on Bowen Therapy and on-site care for horses with musculoskeletal concerns in the Canterbury area. The available information is brief and focuses on the practitioner, the therapy offered, and the temporary pause in service.
