APCA, the Portuguese Association of the Arabian Horse, is an organisation dedicated to the Arabian horse and its presence in Portugal. Its website provides information about the Purebred Arabian Horse, including the breed’s origins, characteristics and breeding, as well as its development in Portugal. The association supports breeders and members through resources such as a directory of breeders and stud farms, listings of animals for sale, a stallion catalogue and access to the genealogical book and stud book documents.

APCA also shares news and practical information relevant to the horse-breeding community. Recent updates include guidance on declaring births, recognition of a breeder of merit, and awards for outstanding horses in endurance riding. The site features links to related Portuguese associations, including APCAA and APCLA, and provides contact details for visitors seeking further information. Members and interested readers can subscribe to the newsletter to receive updates and announcements. Through these services and resources, APCA serves as an information and community hub for Arabian horse breeders, owners and enthusiasts in Portugal.
