PurplPlace

PurplPlace is a women-centered nonprofit based in Brevard, North Carolina, bringing together movement, mental health support, nourishment, coaching, rest, and community. Its whole-person approach recognizes that physical and emotional health are connected, and aims to make meaningful wellness support accessible to women regardless of income. Women can join the community at no cost, while some programs and partner services have fees; financial assistance is available, and some participants pay little or nothing based on need.

PurplPlace offers programs that combine fitness, reflection, and connection. Move Share Heal is an eight-week experience featuring movement and therapist-led group processing, with opportunities to build strength during the week. My Mosaic is an eight-week program pairing movement with guided exploration of personal stories and individual counselor support. Bootcamps help participants build strength, confidence, and consistency in a supportive group, in conjunction with GetFitNut. Through nonprofit funding, partnerships, donations, and grants, PurplPlace also supports access to professional care, nutrition education, wellness resources, and financial assistance.
