The State A.S. Pushkin Museum is a Moscow cultural institution dedicated to Russian literature and the life and legacy of Alexander Pushkin. Its main site on Prechistenka is part of a network that includes Pushkin’s memorial apartment on Arbat, the V.L. Pushkin House Museum, the I.S. Turgenev House Museum, Andrei Bely’s memorial apartment, and exhibition halls on Arbat. Across these venues, the museum presents collections, exhibitions, and programs connecting visitors with Russian writers, history, and the arts.

Visitors can explore temporary exhibitions on subjects ranging from Pushkin and his contemporaries to Russian culture, art, and publishing. The museum offers general and themed guided tours, including programs for children, as well as lectures, concerts, literary and musical events, creative workshops, and educational activities. Family services include a children’s center, and the site also lists accessibility information and a literary café. Guests can plan visits, check opening hours and ticket prices, and buy tickets online. The museum participates in the Moscow Museum Week and accepts the Pushkin Card for eligible events.
