Putimská brána

Putimská brána is a Czech breeding kennel run by Ivana Varousová in Oldřichov near Písek. The kennel focuses on three breeds: Pharaoh Hounds, Bordeaux Great Danes and Canadian Sphynx cats. Its website shares information about the breeds, the kennel’s animals and their litters, with past updates documenting puppies and kittens, their development and placement in new homes. Prospective owners are invited to contact the breeder with questions; the site also provides contact details and links to photographs.

Putimská brána’s activities extend beyond breeding. Its dogs have taken part in conformation shows, coursing competitions and other sporting events, earning placements and titles. The kennel also reports on its dogs’ achievements and shares news from the wider community of owners and breeders. For five years, it organized a show for adopted greyhounds, donating the proceeds to Galgo v nouzi, an organization supporting Spanish greyhounds and Czech animal shelters. The website’s updates are historical, with the latest information shown dated December 2018, so they should not be taken as confirmation of current litters or availability.
