Michigan Financial Companies is a financial services firm whose website features financial planner Ray Ortega of Platinum Wealth Solutions. The firm provides access to financial planning and investment advisory services, with an emphasis on helping clients work toward their individual financial goals. Ortega’s approach begins with planning: he helps clients estimate the resources they may need for financial security at every stage of life, including a long retirement.

He also seeks to explain significant economic events and provide perspective, helping clients stay informed as markets change. A further focus is managing investment behavior, with guidance intended to help clients make decisions without being driven by emotional reactions to market volatility. Ortega holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Iowa and has FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, and 66 licenses.

Michigan Financial Companies lists its office in Southfield, Michigan, and offers email newsletters for timely communications. Securities and investment advisory services are offered through Osaic Wealth, Inc., a member of FINRA and SIPC
