PyCon Africa is the leading conference for the Pan African Python Community. Established in 2019, this year's event will be held online from the 4th to the 8th of August, due to the current circumstances. Despite the shift to an online format, PyCon Africa continues to uphold its mission of sharing knowledge and fostering community connections.

During the conference, participants can expect a wide range of engaging activities. Renowned speakers from Africa and around the world will deliver talks on various Python-related topics. Moreover, interactive sessions and collaborative projects will provide opportunities for attendees to connect with fellow community members.

To ensure inclusivity, most content will be pre-recorded, allowing individuals from across the globe to enjoy PyCon Africa at their own convenience. The conference will be organized into four tracks: PyData, Web/DevOps, General Python, and Python Community, covering topics such as numerical computing, machine learning, web development, and more. Interested individuals can submit proposals for talks and support the event through sponsorship.
